The Deriv Round

This is the one course in Learna written for a single purpose: the Staff/Principal Frontend Engineer process at Deriv. It uses the job description, the notes from the recruiter calls, and everything in the other 23 courses. Each part maps to what a round will test, gives a structure for answering, works an example in full, and shows where the evidence comes from: real work, described accurately.

Seven parts. The role read line by line, with what each line is really testing. The architecture deep-dive drawn live: the state-machine refactor and the platform systems, rehearsed for screen sharing. Frontend system design on Deriv surfaces (cashier, KYC, trading, and the high-traffic onboarding question from round one, answered again properly). Money, identity and trust questions. The AI-workflow questions and the take-home challenge, with evidence. The design pushback drill. And the questions to ask and how to close.
