Python, with Django

Python is the most widely taught language in the world and the default for data and AI work; with Django it is also one of the most productive ways to build a secure web backend. On this machine, four CPU-bound tasks took 455 ms on four threads and 227 ms on four processes: the GIL in one sentence.

Eleven parts in the shared language-course shape: basics; the type system and type hints; memory and CPython internals; concurrency (threads, processes, asyncio, free-threading); idioms; tooling and testing; Django end to end (with DRF and FastAPI alongside); Django internals; performance and profiling; what Python is paired with in production; and the ledger API capstone.
